🧠 THAT ONE AI - This Week’s Signal
Here’s what’s shaping AI right now - without the noise:
💎 Gemini 4 Argon costs the same as GPT-6.1 Sol
🧭 ChatGPT now clicks through Chrome for you, on every plan
🛡️ Anthropic cut the copying of Claude by 90% to 99%
📱 Google Play will run apps you vibe-code in AI Studio
🧰 Tools worth testing
💎 Gemini 4 Argon Costs $2 per Million Input Tokens, Level With GPT-6.1 Sol

Google made Gemini 4 Argon generally available. Developers pay $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. That is the same price as OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol.
Pro and Ultra users get Argon in the Gemini app and in AI Mode in Search. Ultra subscribers also get it in Antigravity, Google's coding tool. Google published a developer guide with tips for building on it. Read Google's post.
The bigger signal: 👉 Two frontier labs now sell their flagship at the same price. At that price, the choice comes down to your own test results, so run your hardest 20 prompts on both models this week.

🧭 ChatGPT Now Clicks Through Chrome for You, on Every Plan

OpenAI upgraded its ChatGPT extension for Chrome. In Work mode, ChatGPT controls your real tabs: it sends messages, fills in forms, downloads files and groups your tabs. In Chat mode, it reads across all your open tabs before it answers.
This works on every ChatGPT plan, the free plan included. The agent works in the browser where you are already signed in, so it can reach your accounts without a separate login. Get the extension.
The bigger signal: 👉 Computer use is now a free feature for hundreds of millions of people. If your web app has forms, an agent will soon fill them in, so test how your app handles that now.
🛡️ Anthropic Cut the Copying of Claude by 90% to 99%
Anthropic published the defenses it uses against distillation, where a rival lab trains its own model on Claude's answers. Anthropic says the defenses cut that harvesting by 90% to 99%, mostly from Chinese AI labs.
A copied model gets Claude's skills but not its safety training. Anthropic shared the data so other labs can find the same pattern in their own traffic. Read Anthropic's research.
The bigger signal: 👉 The API is now a border that a lab defends. If you send heavy, repetitive traffic through any frontier API, expect more checks on how you use it.
285 Free Prompts to Save Time
Your inbox isn't the problem. Neither are your meetings. It's the hours you spend on work AI could do in minutes.
285 copy-paste prompts: built for email, meetings, admin, and delegation. Each one has a clear role, a specific task, and a defined output.
No setup. No prompt engineering. Just copy, paste, and get your time back. Free when you subscribe to Mindstream.
That One AI 🧰 TOOLBOX
A few tools quietly worth exploring:
💻 LFM2.5-24B-A2B → Liquid AI's open model for running agents on a good laptop. It beat the larger Qwen3.6 in 5 of 8 agent tests.
🧑💻 Reason → A coding agent built to cost less per task.
📇 Treg → One skill that gives your agent contact search across 111 data providers.
📊 vibesmonitor → One screen for traffic, errors and user feedback across all your projects.
📱 Google Play Will Run Apps You Vibe-Code in AI Studio
Google Play is opening to apps that people build with AI. US users can now run their own AI Studio apps privately on Android. Sharing comes later, and Google plans a reviewed path into the public Play Store.
This connects the step from prompt to app with the step from app to phone, and Google owns both. Read Google's update.
The bigger signal: 👉 The app store now accepts apps that were never coded by hand. Small internal tools are the first winners, because they need no public review.
🔚 EXIT NODE
Argon and Sol now cost the same, and ChatGPT's browser agent is free on every plan. When price and access are equal, your own test set decides which model you use. Build it this week, before the next price change.
See you next issue.
